Ferrari Fiero, the older brother of Gino Ginelli, made a terrific performance at the 3 year old-test in Skåne. He was perfectly matched and prepped by Camilla Axelsson. He got 10 (!) in type and 9 for trot and canter. Ferrari is owned by Göran Karlsson from Maholms Gård. He is also the owner of the youngest brother in this trio, Honorius, who is under development at our place. All three brothers are bred by Mats Eriksson.
It’s so exciting to follow these young horses from a young age. Both Ferrari and Gino were a year old when I first saw them in the paddock at Mats’s place. I am so happy that Göran and Sabine took my advice and bought Ferrari, and that I had the opportunity to buy Gino last year. And then Göran and Sabine just kept going and bought the little brother, Little H as I call him. Ferrari has grown up and is now a riding horse, while Gino is still growing up and spending most of his time in the field with Little H. They truly are best friends like two peas in a pod. I wonder if they know they’re brothers?

Unfortunately, Little H was the last offspring of Miss Noir since she had health issues and had to pass on to the greener fields and meadows on the other side.
I’m very excited to start working with Gino and it’s gonna be an adventure to see how far these horses can go in the future.
